In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? Particulate matter: invisible yet always present. In large amounts, these small particles in the air can be harmful to our respiratory system. With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. The sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, amount of precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity to the base station via 868 MHz frequency. The console's clearly structured 5.7" colour display shows a large variety of measured local data as well as your station's historically measured values. A reliable local weather forecast is calculated and displayed using weather symbols on the console display for the upcoming 12h. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via online platforms such as "AWEKAS", ''Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. Furthermore, the WIFI function enables Internet time synchronization and firmware updates. The weather station displays the sunburn time in minutes so that you know how long you can sunbathe for safely. It also displays the current wind speed using the Beaufort scale. Therefore, the weather station displays the 6 most important pollutant values in your environment: carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, as well as fine particulate matter PM2.5 and PM10. And because these are many values, the AQI (Air Quality Index) provides a summarized assessment of the current air quality.

Stay on top of the weather with the BRESSER 7-in-1 Solar 6-Day 4CAST PRO Wi-Fi Weather Station. The weather station features a stylish colour display and shows a reliable 6-day weather forecast. Data for the weather forecast is transferred from the ProWeatherLive platform to the solar-powered Wi-Fi weather station and displayed as a graphic symbol. The display also shows the local visibility and cloud cover from the ProWeatherLive server.
Eco-friendly solar-powered weather station
The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which provides reliable data for 7 local weather measurements: temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. The measurements are then sent to the base station within a range of up to 150 metres. The large solar panel is easily brought into the perfect position. The built-in battery stores the solar energy to power the outdoor sensor in your garden or on your house or garage roof.
Feature-packed base station
In addition to an intuitive display that shows the measurements from the solar-powered wireless sensor, the base station also features numerous other functions. For example, it measures the indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure and features a comfort indicator that displays a smiley to show you whether the indoor climate is ideal. You can then take measures to prevent mildew and dry air. In addition, the solar-powered weather station also calculates a number of other useful readings such as the perceived temperature, sunburn time in minutes and the Beaufort index to help you choose the right clothes, avoid sunburn and ensure adequate wind protection. And in order to stay on top of the weather, the maximum/minimum memory allows you to keep an eye on the latest meteorological developments, either on a daily basis or from a certain point in time.

It also displays the times for sunrise and sunset, as well as moonrise and moonset. Cold weather, hardly any sun – will the solar power continue to function?
Example: If, due to the weather conditions, the solar panel only charges for 4 hours each day and the charging current drops to 5 mA, the battery will charge 20 mAh each day. 5 mA x 4 hrs = 20 mAh
Even though the battery has to power the sensor for the remaining 20 hours, it will still store additional power, as the sensor only consumes a total of 4.458 mAh each day out of the 20 mAh charged. If the battery only charges for 4 hours at 5 mA, this will provide enough power for more than 4 days of use: 20/4.458 = 4.48 days
NOTE: It is not possible to ship the battery fully charged. The battery should have approximately 30% to 40% of its capacity when installed (i.e. between 600 and 800 mAh). This charge will provide enough power for 118 (600x0.88/4.458) to 158 days (800x0.88/4.458). As a result, a battery replacement will not be necessary for this sensor.
