This additional base station allows you to view the weather data from your BRESSER 4-day 4CAST Wi-Fi weather centre in an additional room. It features a stylish colour display, which shows the readings from your 7-in-1 sensor (not included) as well as data from the ProWeatherLife platform. For example, you can place the additional base station in your bedroom to view the measurements for outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV level and light intensity as well as the 4-day weather forecast with maximum/minimum temperature and probability of rain – perfect for helping you to choose the right outfit before heading out for the day. The additional base station also displays a range of other useful data, including the perceived temperature, sunburn time, Beaufort level and historical data.
The weather centre base station also features a built-in alarm with a snooze function. And during the winter, you can enable the frost alarm, which makes the alarm go off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C.

However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. Meanwhile, the power of the sun ensures smooth operation via the large solar panel. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very
compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for
the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!
The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and
precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a
multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected
measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols
on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined
value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.
A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol.
Furthermore, the BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 features a radio controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). Already a few minutes after switching the device on the current Central European Time (CET) and the date with weekday are displayed automatically. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. And you don't need to be an expert in order to determine whether the readings are within a healthy range: The air quality index shows you in 6 colour-coded levels whether the air is clean.
Historical air quality data
The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. The particulate matter meter therefore records a range of historical readings, including the maximum readings from the past hour and 24 hours, and the overall historical maximum, to give you better idea of trends in the air quality. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. The device also features a high alarm function: simply configure your desired limit for particulate matter and the alarm will sound when the limit is reached.
If you normally measure the air quality indoors, but want to know whether the air is clean before you spend a sunny day in the garden, you can use the wireless sensor. The wireless sensor can also be used individually and shows you the particulate matter readings on the built-in display. Armed with this sensor, you can measure particulate matter both indoors and outdoors. Also ideal for travelling!
Particulate matter meter with fresh air function
Good air quality is about much more than clean air. A good indoor climate is also essential for our wellbeing. For this reason, the particulate matter meter also features a built-in thermo-hygrometer so that you can monitor your indoor climate in more detail. If you have mould stains in your bathroom or the air in your child's bedroom is too dry when you turn the heating on, you can take preventive measures by referring to the indoor temperature and humidity readings on the base station. What's more, if you put the air quality meter in your bedroom, it can also double up as an alarm. Simply set the time at which you want to get up and enjoy your well-earned sleep until the alarm goes off. If you want a few extra minutes in bed, you can press the snooze button to silence the alarm for 5 minutes.

The BRESSER Meteo Temp weather station has a clearly arranged display, on which you can always read the current time and date because of the DCF radio signal. Did you accidentally drop your 5-in-1 outdoor sensor during your last move or while replacing the batteries? Accidents such as these can easily happen. However, that's no reason to purchase a new BRESSER 5-in-1 professional weather centre. This replacement sensor allows you to restore all the functions of your existing base station. As usual, the sensor is easy to set up: simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) and secure the sensor in a freely accessible location using the enclosed mounting materials. Once you've mounted the sensor, you just need to manually connect the old base station to the replacement outdoor sensor. To do this, hold down the SCAN button on the base station for approximately 2 seconds, and then press the reset button on the sensor. Wait a few moments until a signal is received, after which you will be able to view your local weather data. The base station will display the wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation.

The mount is controlled via pre-installed web-app software, accessible via WIFI and Ethernet cable connection. The philosophy behind the Nebula GoTo system is to provide the user with a control system independent of a standard PC, which can be remotely controlled via a smart device such as a mobile phone or tablet. However, this does not exclude the traditional use of computers of all types and brands, which can be connected to the system either wired or wirelessly.
The BRESSER Nebula GoTo System Controller is a Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer, which allows complete control of the setup (mount, camera, etc...) without the need for any other external device.
