Designed for children aged 8 and above, this entry-level set includes a BRESSER JUNIOR telescope and a BRESSER JUNIOR microscope. It also comes with a wide range of accessories for exploring the microcosmos and night sky. The BRESSER JUNIOR microscope features an LED transmitted light illuminator and a 40x to 640x magnification. These magnifications allows you to observe paramecium or microorganisms from a pond. What is transmitted light? Transmitted light means that the light source is behind and shines through the observed sample, rather than illuminating the sample from above. This requires the use of particularly thin specimens. To avoid time-consuming preparatory work, the set comes with a wide range of accessories so that you can start observing straight away. You can place the pre-prepared specimens directly under the microscope and observe their contents. Alternatively, you can also prepare your own specimens with the supplied tool kit. The eyepiece features foldable rubber eyecups to enable use by spectacle wearers. The microscope is also highly portable thanks to its battery-operated, lightweight design. And this azimuthal mount has a great advantage: it is very easy to operate. Just like a common photo tripod, you simply swing the telescope manually to the left and right, up and down. Perfect for beginners in astronomy and children. But where to put the accessories? To keep them within easy reach, just place eyepieces, solar filter etc. on the storage plate between the tripod legs. It is a complete system for the exploration of the wonders of the universe, consisting of telescope, mount, tripod and all accessories needed. With an aperture of 70 mm it reveils already many details of celestial objects. The mount can not only swing the telescope left / right and up / down, it can also be used in a so-called equatorial mode, as scientists do in their observatories (see further under Special features). An additional finder scope mounted on the telescope is useful for locating celestial objects. With the erecting lens many exciting things in the environment can also be seen during daytime. With the height-adjustable tripod, the telescope can each be brought to an optimal height for large or small observers. The supplied diagonal mirror ensures a comfortable viewing. At night the moon and planets may like Saturn and Jupiter can be explored. But thanks to the 70 mm wide aperture of the telescope also many celestial objects outside our solar system are within the reach of this telescope.
