Practical features and useful weather data

Meanwhile, the perceived ('feels like') temperature factors in the impact of wind and humidity on the outdoor temperature, and helps you to choose the right clothes. In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. (PLEASE SET HOUR OFFSET TO -1 IN THE TIME SETTING MENU IF IN THE UK, IRELAND OR PORTUGAL TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT TIME FOR THESE AREAS).
The weather station is ideal for bedrooms: the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness to the surroundings so that your sleep is not disturbed. There is also a built-in alarm clock with a snooze function. During the winter, the ice/forst alarm activates the alarm 30 minutes earlier when the temperature is below -3 °C. The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very
compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for
the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!
The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and
precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a
multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected
measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols
on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined
value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.
A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol.

Particulate matter: invisible yet always present. In large amounts, these small particles in the air can be harmful to our respiratory system. With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. And you don't need to be an expert in order to determine whether the readings are within a healthy range: The air quality index shows you in 6 colour-coded levels whether the air is clean.
Historical air quality data
The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. The particulate matter meter therefore records a range of historical readings, including the maximum readings from the past hour and 24 hours, and the overall historical maximum, to give you better idea of trends in the air quality. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. The device also features a high alarm function: simply configure your desired limit for particulate matter and the alarm will sound when the limit is reached.
If you normally measure the air quality indoors, but want to know whether the air is clean before you spend a sunny day in the garden, you can use the wireless sensor. The wireless sensor can also be used individually and shows you the particulate matter readings on the built-in display. The BRESSER Meteo Temp weather station has a clearly arranged display, on which you can always read the current time and date because of the DCF radio signal. Furthermore, the weather station offers information about the temperature for inside and outside. The outdoor values are supplied by the outdoor sensor which is included in the scope of delivery. A graphical weather trend display shows you the weather trend for the coming hours. Due to the extra-large display, senior citizens and people with impaired vision keep track of the weather very easily as well. The rectilinear design adapts to any interior decoration and does not require visible switches.
Please note: this station does not feature an hour offset function, so is for use in Central European Timezone only. Not recommended for use in the UK, Ireland and Portugal.FEATURES

Monitor the indoor climate
The indoor climate is just as important for our wellbeing as the weather. The additional base station features a built-in sensor that keeps you informed of the ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure. There is also a maximum/minimum memory to help you monitor recent trends: with a simple button press, the base station shows you the maximum/minimum values of the past day and since the last reset. This can help you to prevent mildew and excessively dry air, as well as keep track of other key measurements.
What’s more, the additional base station also shows you useful information to help you prepare for the day ahead. For example, the feels-like temperature will help you decide whether to wear a jacket. For sunny days, there is a sunburn time indicator, while the Beaufort index will show you how strong the wind is blowing.

What is the weather doing? The BRESSER MeteoChamp 7-in-1 HD Wi-Fi Weather Station will show you everything that you need to answer this question. The dynamic 17.8 cm (7-inch) HD TFT colour screen displays the measurements from the two included sensors in a range of different display modes. With a simple button press, you can view the weather data that you need: the home screen with the basic data and a reliable weather forecast, the detailed view with more data including maximum and minimum values and trends, or the overview screen with the temperature and air pressure.
And for passionate weather enthusiasts, the Wi-Fi weather station can also display historical data. The data protocol delivers detailed measurements at intervals of 5, 10 or 30 minutes – all of which can be exported via USB for further analysis on your PC. All max/min values for the past day can also be displayed on the Wi-Fi weather station with a simple button press. You can also view a history graph to analyse the recent trends in the weather. The MeteoChamp Weather Station comes with two feature-packed outdoor sensors: one 7-in-1 sensor and one wireless thermo-hygro sensor.The 7-in-1 wireless sensor reliably measures the outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV level and light intensity. And what’s more, this multi-sensor with a large solar panel is powered by solar power. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries as a back-up during installation and they will take care of the power supply.
The thermo-hygro wireless sensor is responsible for indoors. Because the climate there influences our well-being just as much as it does outside. That's why in addition to the built-in hygro-thermo sensor inside the base station this wireless thermo-hygro sensor measures the indoor temperature and humidity in an additional room. This way you can check in a flash whether the air in the bathroom is dry enough or the temperature in the children's room is pleasant - and give mould as well as excessively dry air no chance.
Perfectly networked – share measurements from your Wi-Fi weather station
In the age of the Internet, we want to be able to access our local weather data remotely and share it with others. The solar weather station comes with a Wi-Fi function that allows you to do just that – on up to 3 weather platforms. The Wi-Fi weather station features native support for the popular weather services ProWeatherLive, Weather Underground and Weathercloud, which can be configured in a few simple steps. If you prefer to use another platform such as the German-language portal AWEKAS, you can also connect your weather station to your desired provider. The weather station also has another smart feature to ensure that you have plenty of time to get ready on frosty mornings: an ice/frost alarm. This makes the built-in alarm go off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C.
