If there’s something in the air, it’s probably not very good for us. This could be formaldehyde (HCHO) or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), which can enter our ambient air through things like furniture, materials, tobacco smoke, paints or adhesives. With the BRESSER HCHO + VOC Sensor, you can keep an eye on the air quality and take targeted measures to improve the situation. The integrated LC display of the sensor displays precise formaldehyde readings as well as the VOC level in the air.

Practical features and useful weather data

Meanwhile, the perceived ('feels like') temperature factors in the impact of wind and humidity on the outdoor temperature, and helps you to choose the right clothes. In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. (PLEASE SET HOUR OFFSET TO -1 IN THE TIME SETTING MENU IF IN THE UK, IRELAND OR PORTUGAL TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT TIME FOR THESE AREAS).

And you don’t need to buy the whole product! This 5-in-1 external sensor is the perfect replacement part for your weather centre. It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? You can manually intervene: Simply press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the base station and it will start to search for the new wireless sensor. Once connected, the local measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation will be transmitted via 868 MHz to your colour display.

The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very
compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for
the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!
The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and
precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a
multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected
measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols
on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined
value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.
A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol.
Furthermore, the BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 features a radio controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). Already a few minutes after switching the device on the current Central European Time (CET) and the date with weekday are displayed automatically. For the ''moonstruckers'' also the different phases of the moon are shown. An alarm function with snooze mode is also integrated.

With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. Historical air quality data
The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. The particulate matter meter therefore records a range of historical readings, including the maximum readings from the past hour and 24 hours, and the overall historical maximum, to give you better idea of trends in the air quality. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. The device also features a high alarm function: simply configure your desired limit for particulate matter and the alarm will sound when the limit is reached.
If you normally measure the air quality indoors, but want to know whether the air is clean before you spend a sunny day in the garden, you can use the wireless sensor.
