Practical features and useful weather data
Featuring an outdoor sensor, the weather station offers numerous features to keep you meteorologically informed throughout the day. For example, the graphic weather forecast will show you what kind of weather you can expect over the next 12 hours. Meanwhile, the perceived ('feels like') temperature factors in the impact of wind and humidity on the outdoor temperature, and helps you to choose the right clothes. In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. (PLEASE SET HOUR OFFSET TO -1 IN THE TIME SETTING MENU IF IN THE UK, IRELAND OR PORTUGAL TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT TIME FOR THESE AREAS).
The weather station is ideal for bedrooms: the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness to the surroundings so that your sleep is not disturbed. There is also a built-in alarm clock with a snooze function. During the winter, the ice/forst alarm activates the alarm 30 minutes earlier when the temperature is below -3 °C. And you don’t need to buy the whole product! This 5-in-1 external sensor is the perfect replacement part for your weather centre. It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? You can manually intervene: Simply press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the base station and it will start to search for the new wireless sensor. Once connected, the local measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation will be transmitted via 868 MHz to your colour display.

Meanwhile, the power of the sun ensures smooth operation via the large solar panel. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Outdoors, the weather station puts in a great performance with anemometer and rain gauge as well as thermometer and hygrometer, UV and light sensors. What about the climate indoors? precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a
multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected
measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols
on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined
value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.
A poor indoor climate often involves health risks especially for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 offers you a smart feature to deal with this. The indoor climate indicator informs steadily about the indoor climate with a symbol.
Furthermore, the BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 features a radio controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Historical air quality data
The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. Environmentally-friendly and user-friendly – weather station with solar sensor
Quick to install and connect to the base station, the 7-in-1 wireless sensor reliably supplies data measured directly on site, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation amount, UV level and light intensity. Meanwhile, the power of the sun ensures smooth operation via the large solar panel. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries as a back-up during installation and they will take care of the power supply.
A comfortable indoor climate with the WiFi weather station
Outdoors, the weather station puts in a great performance with anemometer and rain gauge as well as thermometer and hygrometer, UV and light sensors. What about the climate indoors? A thermo-hygro sensor has been integrated into the base station so that you can always keep an eye on the indoor temperature and humidity. The trend display, which can be called up directly on the display, is perfect for preventing excessively dry air or mould. Trends you will be able to see include development of the room climate, so that you can respond by introducing fresh air or by humidifying if you need to.
