Vixen has developed a new generation of SX mounts with Wifi for demanding observers and astrophotographers.
The SXP2WL mount is easily operated via a Wifi module using a smartphone or tablet. For user-friendly control of the mount, the free STAR BOOK Wireless app is available. This allows you to use practical celestial navigation functions such as automatic GoTo slewing to certain celestial objects easily via your smartphone or tablet. Since the power consumption of the traditional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is eliminated, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. This enables astronomical observations and astrophotography over longer periods.
By selecting the desired celestial object from a list, it will automatically slew into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins. A previously existing STAR BOOK TEN controller can also be used with this mount without any issues. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the top model, the AXD mount, the SXP2WL sets a new standard in performance and precision in the Vixen mount family.

In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light.
With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light.
Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem.
However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility.
They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark.
The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm.

Simply open it up, put it down and immediately produce green solar powerThe handling is very simple: unfold the solar panel and align it as perpendicularly as possible to the sun. Then connect the device to be charged to the solar charger, either with a suitable USB cable (not included) or with the included DC connection cable. The charging process begins immediately.
Which devices can the solar panel charge?
The solar charger gets all devices with a USB power supply connection or the above-mentioned DC power plug connection up and running again in no time – e.g. smartphones, tablets, power banks, portable playstations, MP4 players, GPS devices and Bluetooth headphones. For charging large power stations, we recommend the more powerful BRESSER solar panels with at least 60 watts output power – see art. no. 3810050, 3810060, 3810070.Universal charger with flexible connection optionsOne USB-A connection socket is available for powering your devices. There is also an additional universal connection socket for DC bar plugs with a diameter of 5.5/2.1 mm. A universal connection cable with a 5.5/2.1mm DC bar plug on both sides and a length of 2 metres, as well as 3 plug adapters (3.5/1.35mm, 5.5/2.5mm, 8.0/5.5/0.8mm) are included in the scope of delivery. How long does it take to charge a battery?Most modern devices with built-in batteries indicate the current charging status of the battery on a display or status LEDs. The charging process is also automatically terminated by the internal charger of the smartphone or tablet, etc., as soon as the battery is full.Nevertheless, it is helpful to know how long a full charge theoretically takes with an empty battery. This is the only way to choose the right solar panel model for the requirements of the devices you want to charge.Here is a short calculation: Divide the capacity of the battery (mAh) by the charging current of the charger (mA) and multiply this by a factor of 75. This then gives you the approximate charging time in minutes that is required to fully charge the battery at 100% sunshine duration.Example: A battery with a capacity of 3000mAh (3.0 Ah) and a charging current via 5 volt USB connection of 2400mA (2.4 amps). So 3000 : 2400 x 75 = 94 minutes. Dividing the result by 60 gives the charging time in hours: 1.6 hours.This means that an average smartphone can be fully charged in just about 1.6 hours with a 21-watt solar panel.
Carabiner hook for attachment included
In order to attach the solar panel securely to an object and align it perfectly with the sun, 4 sturdy snap hooks are included in the scope of delivery. Simply connect them to the riveted ring eyelets of the solar panel and use them to hang the solar charger stably, e.g. on a tent loop, a fence or other suitable holding points. The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100 is designed for a camera with lens of max. 2.0 kg total weight to carry and track in polar mode. In Azimut mode also a camera weight up to 5.0kg is possible. Large aperture, wide-angle lenses are ideal for the beginning, because the requirements for tracking accuracy accumulate with increasing focal length and exposure time. Thus, a shot with wide-angle lens can be exposed for up to several minutes and the stars remain punctiform without problems. For example, with a 200mm telephoto lens the polar alignment of the photo mount must be exactly right. But thanks to the integrated pole finder tunnel, this is done quickly.
After setting up the light and compact StarTracker Photo Mount, simply set the approximate latitude (pole height) and aim Polaris through the integrated pole finder tunnel. Then mount the camera with the photo lens using the quick-release plate on the supplied ball head. With the ball head, the camera can be aligned and determined at any time on any section of the sky. As soon as the tracking motor is switched on, long-time exposure can be started immediately. This does not even take 5 minutes ... The tracking is carried out by a precise stepper motor, which can be controlled by an easy digital setup on LCD screen. Low power consumption allows up to 20 hours of operation with just one battery charge or simply use the micro USB port for an unlimited power supply. How long does it take to charge a battery?Most modern devices
with built-in batteries indicate the current charging status of the
battery on a display or status LEDs. The charging process is also
automatically terminated by the internal charger of the smartphone or
tablet, etc., as soon as the battery is full.Nevertheless, it is helpful to know how long a full charge theoretically takes with an empty battery. This is the only way to choose the right solar panel model for the requirements of the devices you want to charge.Here is a short calculation: Divide the
capacity of the battery (mAh) by the charging current of the charger
(mA) and multiply this by a factor of 75. This then gives you the
approximate charging time in minutes that is required to fully charge the battery at 100% sunshine
duration.Example 1: A battery with a
capacity of 3000mAh (3.0 Ah) and a charging current via 5 volt USB
connection of 3400mA (3.4 amps). So 3000 : 3400 x 75 = 66 minutes.
Dividing the result by 60
gives the charging time in hours: 1.1 hours.This means that an average smartphone can be fully charged in just about 1.1 hours with a 120-watt solar panel. Example 2:
